Welcome to Gilari Afghan Hounds

Jill and Clari have exhibited afghans for 38 years and are both Championship Show judges of the breed - Jill also extends her interest to judging other breeds in the Hound Group; notably Saluki, Borzoi and Whippet breeds.

As a relatively small kennel, we have always bred very sparingly, and may only produce one or two more litters.

Our home kennel presently consists of 6 Afghans ranging from 9 years to 7 months, we are very proud to have just bred another litter based on English lines, and very proud to have bred their Dam who has now gained her title; Ch Gilari Take That JW

Our afghans are very much a part of us and our lives. We have owned some fabulous dogs who have been wonderful companions. It is difficult to imagine life without an Afghan!
